Morton General Hospital offeres free diabetes education classes every other Tuesday.
Taught by Certified Diabetes Educator Carolyn McAllister, the informal, casual group emphasizes self-care behaviors, reviews diabetic issues, new advancements in diabetes care and shares food tips and food plans.
